Title:  The CEANY Un-webinar!  

Description:  What is an Un-webinar?  Instead of just one expert presenting on a topic, through this “unwebinar” we invite YOU to join your CEANY Colleagues from across the State to share your YOUR CE unit’s success, innovation, or challenge. 

An “unwebinar” is a sharing session, where participants who would like to share, have 3 minutes each to share with the group.  Networking and sharing with one another is one of our most highly valued forms of  professional development. It is important to our professional growth to hear about how each of us is addressing opportunities and challenges on our campuses.  As CE professionals we may want to share how to cultivate partnerships, choose and implement technology tools, identify, design, and implement new programs and services and advocate for continuing education within our communities!    

There is no preplanned agenda.  Each person will get 3 minutes to share. 

Join us for this fun “un-webinar” format and be prepared to learn and share along with your colleagues! 

Facilitator:  Lisa Raposo

Lisa Raposo is Interim Director at the SUNY Center for Professional Development.  A former Librarian, Lisa has 20 years of experience in academic support serving both faculty and student populations within public higher education.  She is passionate about using technology to support the business of the University and excels at bridging the communication gap between technology and academic professionals. Professional expertise includes: program delivery and operations, educational technology, faculty development, instructional design, outreach, program development and management, and organizational development. Lisa earned her MLS from Syracuse University and lives in Camillus, NY with her husband, daughter, and pets.
