Social Media. There is no escaping. Notebooks, tablets and smartphones have expanded our world, allowing access to information beyond time and distance. People everywhere are posting, tweeting, following and hash tagging in a quest for the latest updates. Imagine what the world would be like if the same time and energy were used for the pursuit of knowledge? Join us as we explore how social media resources can expand the continuing education classroom and modernize our best practices to the 21st century.

  • New Healthcare Initiatives – Affordable Care Act in regard to medical billing and coding, inception of ICD-10-CM and ICD10-PCS coding.

  • NYS Department of Education NEW bullying (DASA) seminar and NEW teacher testing certification requirements
