Join CEANY for a great day of learning and sharing with your colleagues. This year, we join forces with SUNY Business and Education Cooperative of the Southern Tier for our morning session with Brian Hutzley, Vice Chancellor for Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer for SUNY. 

Our afternoon will be only with fellow CEANY members, with lunch at 12 and association updates and sharing of best practices following. It’s a great time to catch up, and learn what’s working well on your colleagues’ campuses! 

Pre-registration and pre-payment is required, and your low member fee of $35 includes breakfast, lunch, and an all day parking permit.

Registration and payment are due by Wednesday, April 25th at 5pm.

SUNY, the Regional Economic Development Councils and NYS Economic Revitalization 

Brian Hutzley, who is vice chancellor for financial services and chief financial officer for SUNY. In this capacity, he is responsible for SUNY’s $10 billion annual all-funds budget as well as strategic infrastructure management and operations of the University. He is also Co-chair of Entrepreneurial Century.

Previously, Hutzley was vice president for business and finance at SUNY Delhi, director of finance and strategy for Mead in Sidney, N.Y., and held management positions at Amphenol Aerospace, AT&T, and NCR. He is on the board of directors for The Otsego County Chamber and on the Chamber’s Business Action Committee.

In the context of SUNY, the REDC’s, and NYS economic revitalization, Hutzley will address topics of small business and entrepreneurship, workforce development, strategic enrollment and high needs programs and funding, research and innovation, commercialization and development, sandbox, entrepreneurs in residence and the entrepreneurial campus, and the education pipeline.

Each registrant is asked to share one best practice, program or idea that is working well on their campus.   If you have a pressing issue that you need assistance or guidance on, you can share that during this time instead. Fellow CEANY members love learning from each other, and love helping each other!
