Up Next: September 18, 2015 - Noon-1:00
Topic: Designing and Managing Successful Webinars
The use of web conferencing technologies has become commonplace in our work environments. Tools such as Blackboard Collaborate, Zoom, Adobe Connect, Webex and others allow you to conduct online meetings with geographically dispersed audiences or attend presentations from well-known experts all from the comfort and convenience of your own office. Webinars are now being used to build and enhance programs and create opportunities for community outreach. Successful facilitation in these new virtual learning spaces requires careful consideration of some unique variables. The use of voice, delivery of audio, and audience engagement are just a few variables to consider when designing and managing a webinar. Presenters will provide an overview of web conferencing features and how to incorporate them into a webinar session, while sharing best practices to help you create and facilitate an effective web conference.
