Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, Human Resource Management
Location:    Tompkins Cortland Community College
Full/Part Time:    Fall 2022 – 08/29/22 – 12/16/22

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Instruct BUAD219 - Human Resource Management; this course is an introduction to the field of human resource management in the public and private sectors. The functions of recruitment, selection, testing, employee development, individual and group behavior, motivation, morale, communication, management and labor relations, and remuneration are explored. International issues and current legislation are also discussed Teaching assignments may involve teaching day, evening, online, hybrid, and HyFlex courses.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, or a related field from a regionally accredited university
  • At least 2 years' experience teaching at the college level
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States
  • Proficiency using Learning Management Software
  • In exceptional cases: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Business, or other closely related field of study AND three (3) years of related work experience in a managerial capacity OR two (2) years at a professional level position in Human Resources specialty such as Labor Relations, Recruiting, Training, Employment Law or Benefits Administration.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Terminal degree (PHD) in Business or a related field from a regionally accredited university with at least 2 years industry experience.
 
COMPENSATION:  $925 - $1,130 per credit hour dependent upon experience. Salary subject to change pending outcome of TC3 Adjunct Association negotiations.
