    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    One (full time equivalent) year of experience of providing training to adults in the field of social services, or related field.
    3)      
    Experience in the field of early childhood education and NYS child care regulations and policies.

    Under the direction of the Department Manager, position works independently or with other members of the Child Support Training and Outreach Project team in support of completing contract deliverables related to the development and delivery of child support training and specialized support activities in the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance’s (OTDA) Child Support Services (CSS).  Duties include, but are not limited to:

    The School of Continuing & Professional Studies is seeking an Associate Director for the Continuing Education Program, which serves approximately 5,000 students annually and generates $1.3 million tuition revenue.     DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

    • Implement, refine, and monitor practices and procedures for institutional agreements, compliance, accreditation, and affiliation.
    • Manage existing and non-credit programs. Work closely with various academic and administrative offices to ensure successful functioning of all aspects of the program.
    • Growing new non-degree, certificate programs: Assist the Director in marketing, outreach, and recruitment, e.g., planning events, catalog development, website, and social media.

    • In collaboration with the registrar, manage student breakeven enrollment, monitor instructional costs and related course expenses.

    • Collect and analyze data to ensure program sustainability and new directions of development; supervise data collection for Form A; create and refine reports on all programs.
    • Conduct monitoring, advising, and troubleshooting for Continuing Education Students

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience.

    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
    Under direction of the Department Manager or designee, position provides leadership to professional education and training teams; delivers in-person classroom and virtual classroom/online education and training programs and supports program and NYS policy initiatives; as well as serves as master trainer and liaison to project sponsors.  Duties includes, but are not limited to:

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    1.    Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by a USDOE, or an internationally recognized accrediting organization, in Adult Education, Communications, English, Social Science, or related field, and a minimum of three years of experience delivering adult training programs.
    2.    Excellent writing, speaking, training delivery, presentation, group facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
    3.    Demonstrated creativity and expertise in delivering training material in conformance with project objectives and in planning and coordinating training activities as assigned.
    4.    Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and in-person and virtual classroom/online adult training methods.
    5.    Demonstrated ability to successfully work under pressure with strong attention to details, as well as effectively work on multiple projects with competing priorities/deadlines in shared staff resource setting.
    6.    Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently as well as within teams.
    7.    Demonstrated ability to effectively lead project teams and encourage and promote teamwork and positive interactions.
    8.    Strong team and customer orientation and successful experience in coaching, motivating, and developing skills of staff.
    9.    Working knowledge of the NYS social service delivery system and public welfare programs or experience in the delivery of specific public welfare programs, such as Temporary Assistance, SNAP, Employment & Advancement Services, HEAP, and Child Support Enforcement, or the administrative/fair hearings process, welfare fraud investigations, and audit/quality improvement initiatives.
    10.    Demonstrated proficiencies using Microsoft products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Edge, and document and presentation templates.

    Under the direction of the Department Manager or designee, position provides coordination, training, and support services to regionally based youth services staff by conducting various activities related to the development of continuing professional education programming for professionals working with foster care and at-risk youth aged 14-21.

    Provide targeted training and training support, and other related activities to the assigned OCFS Region.  Activity will be determined through the needs assessment process and through agreement with the Division of Youth Development and Partnerships for Success, Regional Offices, Youth Bureaus, RHY programs, local districts, and voluntary agencies statewide to improve their performance and the achievement of better safety, permanency, and well-being outcomes for youth in care.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
